African Women and Youth Organisation is a led non governmental organisation, driven with the zeal to empower African women and youth in Europe for positive change and development through the intellectual strength and capacity of its savvy young leaders who are charged with the passion of impacting their community and the whole world positively.

The mission statement of this group is, “empowering young people by building their leadership virtues, providing mentorship opportunities and being action oriented.”

Our Vision

Our vision is “to be the pacesetting organization dedicated to empowering young people in Germany, Africa and beyond.”

This vision is achieved through our five basic thrusts which are:

· Voluntary services oversees

· Fighting racial discrimination and building social confidence in young African immigrants

· Entrepreneurship

· Leadership and mentoring

· Research development and documentation

· Streamlining youth voices into decision making processes

Women Entrepreneurial training Workshop

The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) Workshop was designed by African Women and Youth Organisation to empower young women economically with the necessary skills that would give them the ability to take charge of their finances through wealth creation and provision of jobs.

The aim of African Women and Youth Organisation is to train African women entrepreneurs in the next 5 years, to achieve the following:

· Establish their own business

· Expose them to the available opportunity with their environment

· Create a platform for them to learn from established entrepreneurs.

· Support them through the process of building successful and sustainable institutions and planning for their succession.

Youth Leaders Mentorship Forum - is platform for youth leaders in Africa and around the world to showcase their achievement and talent, thereby using their experiences (challenges and successes to encourage other young people who aspire to become leaders in their communities. One of the aims of the forum is also to encourage outstanding youth leaders by appreciating their work during. A youth leadership awards would be conducted for the showcased leaders in which the best in selected fields would be duly awarded and appreciated. The winners also get the opportunity to meet and rub minds with their counterparts in other parts of the world.

Youth leadership Training Workshop Series: This is a project organised to educate and empower young people in secondary and tertiary institution towards building their leadership potentials, by inviting resource persons who are capable of influencing them with their experiences. This comes up ones every month
